Gerald Metroz


Gerald R. Metroz is a former sports journalist, hockey-club president, coach and author of books about international ice hockey.


After a successful sports career (wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, Summer Paralympics 1996 in Atlanta) and being two years in the business of professional hockey in North America, studying the working methods within the National Hockey League (NHL), he brought back to Europe the work techniques and ethic of the NHL developing his agency as the best north american sports consulting agencies would do. Gerald was the first full-time agent working in Switzerland for local and import players.


In the last 20 years, with his own “Gerald Metroz Sports Consulting” company, he has been the leading agent on the Swiss Market. Together with Klaus Hille, he founded Sports Consulting Group Europe in 1998 and have formed one of the most respected Sport Management agencies in Europe.
